Bright Sunny Day

It's nice as hell out and even with two tests and Temple losing I can't help but listen to some old rap songs from summers and springs past.
Ok so Memphis Bleek is pretty average when it comes to having good rap albums but this song was a banger. The head was tremendous but this dick is strictly business.
One of the best songs ever written and we all know 90% of women are Boughetto.
Of course you can't drive in summer with out some West Coast anthems, like 1995 Mack Dime.
I know it's warm when i hear this, or a little puerto rican judo.  Plus Dome.

Odd

Alrite so I've been listening to some pretty varied shit as of late.  Probably caused by the blueberry eggos i've consumed.  Anyways lets get to some random
So first is the band Elysia.  I saw them on St. Pats day and let me say one thing, far superior on record, plus why the hell are you playing with Soldiers.  Soldiers is too good of a band to play before this band.  But anyways even after shitting the bed live the cd is still entertaining.  If nothing else listen from 3:14 on for an interesting musical effort.  Also it's kind of funny with this video.
In not so similar music is These New Puritans.  This song and video are both good and weird.  Not my favorite song on the album but what are you gonna do.
Ok so I'm not huge on the next band.  They pretty much only have about 2 songs i respect.  Sometimes they sound like they could pull off a Pretty Girls Make Graves sound but just as easy they could slip to a...dare i say it, Ashley Simpson level.  Whatever i'll probably listen to it for another day and forget about it.
And finally Amon Amarth.  I've known this band for quite a while but never really listened to their full catalogue until recently.  This is Viking Metal, made by Vikings but can still be heard by non-vikings.  Lyrical content will include Viking gods, boats, rape and pillaging, pretty much its what the vikings would have listened to if they could have.  The Amon Amarth era of The Crusher, Versus the World, and Fate of Norns seem to be the best of there stuff.  This is from Versus the World.
And Fate of Norns

New Shit

So instead of doing a usual new download thing, that i never keep up with, i decided to change it to a collection of what i'm currently listening to.
First off is somewhat lesser known rapper Wiz Khalifa straight outta Pittsburgh Pistolvania.  He released the mixtape prince of the city 2 at the end of '07 so go get it.  This isn't on it and he does have stuff a little cuttier than this but with good production.
Second is the Twilight Sad album.  I can't turn the shit off it's both chill for background music and good for driving and listening to.  Plus they're scottish.
Third is the new Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin album.  Probably the first really good cd of 2008 other than we got it for cheap vol 3.  Really the only good indie pop i've heard in a little while.
And lastly I still can't stop listening to the Young Liars EP from TV on the Radio.  I think i play it every morning in the shower or some shit.  Blind and Young Liars are still my favorite two songs by them even after two other good full albums.  Making Maps out of your dreams
